Design2Cost is an integrated solution that consists of the following three components, which can be combined as you need:

Allplan
IBD – a library of intelligent building data
An application used for tendering, ordering and billing

When your office is already equipped with an application used for tendering, ordering and billing, we will integrate a lean program that handles the data transfer.

IBD (intelligent building data) represents the link between graphics and analyses. Why?
Nobody would draw corner guards in a draft. However, they are described and included in calculations.

IBD is a collection of practical building groups including specification descriptions, prices and regulations. These regulations are intelligent. In other words, when it comes to calculations, they automatically retrieve the correct values and quantities from a drawing. Another advantage is that you can set up your own building groups.

A single solution for layouts, schedules of rooms and buildings as well as cost calculations
The system provides model layout documents, sound specification descriptions including quantities for cost calculations and tenders.

In addition, this new software facilitates the process of switching from conventional CAD drawings in 2D to object-based 3D layouts. Allplan's graphical Wizards provide a sure and effective introduction to the world of object-oriented design.
