Knowing what works

TIM, short for Technical Information Manager, is a new software system by Nemetschek Engineering. It supports order processing from offer handling to erection and therefore links the operational departments, such as engineering design, sales, work planning, production, delivery and assembly.   The special feature of TIM is its simple operation. You not only work with numerical data, but also, supplementally with virtual objects, and therefore visualises the tasks and processes, as they happen in reality.

Ease of use

CAD know-how is not required at all; tasks such as assembly planning or HGV loading are almost child's play to take care of with TIM, as the results are actually in view, with the virtual precast parts.

TIM is your “monitor” for planning and production and ensures a transparent information flow.

The software system

Data hub and integration platform!

TIM is the link between CAD, the host computers in the factory and the ERP software.
The integration with these systems functions through a constant and automatic data comparison. With this, the SQL database facilitates the communication between different systems.
A change to a precast part has so far meant that a new file needs to be created for production and disposition and sent. So that this functions smoothly, complex organisational measures are necessary. Thanks to the SQL database and the Message Manager, this can be done in seconds - only a status is changed: With this, everyone is informed and nothing can go wrong anymore.
